Review of BTS's 3 Additional South American Concert Schedule
On April 8, BTS announced on Weverse that they would be adding three more shows in South America. The news was that a date would be added once each for Lima, Peru on October 7, Santiago, Chile on October 14, and Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 21.
With these additional performances, the World Tour Arirang expanded to a total of 85 shows across 34 cities. The tour reportedly began at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on April 9, 11, and 12, followed by performances at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on the 17th and 18th, and then toured major cities in North America, Europe, South America, and Asia.
Before that was the BTS Comeback Live Arirang held at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21. It was a performance marking their return as a complete group after 3 years and 9 months, and it was reportedly released on Netflix as well. So, it took less than a month from their comeback performance to the announcement of additional concerts in South America.
And now, those additional schedules are becoming a reality one by one. They finished their first performance in Lima on the 7th, with the 9th and 10th remaining, followed by Santiago from the 14th to the 17th, and Buenos Aires from the 21st to the 24th, where they will meet fans.
It’s fascinating to see the dates I wrote on the calendar for the presentation passing by one by one.
