An exhibition where you can experience Namjoon's tastes

I am delighted to hear the news that the art Namjoon has loved has led to an exhibition. The joint exhibition between RM and the museum at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art was impressive because it served as a platform to share personal collections. Seeing the interests of someone I got to know through music extend to other forms of art makes me feel like the stories I encounter while liking BTS are gradually expanding as well.

The museum's official introduction states that approximately 150 pieces from Namjoon's collection will be exhibited alongside the museum's own collection. It reportedly features works by Korean artists such as Yun Hyong-keun, Park Rae-hyun, and Chang Uck-jin, as well as ceramics, calligraphy, paintings, and sculptures. Even though the names of the works are not yet familiar, I found myself wanting to take my time and find out which paintings he might have gazed at for so long.

I was particularly touched by the wall descriptions written by Namjoon himself and the audio guide narrated by his voice. It feels like a closer connection because it goes beyond simply showcasing his favorite artworks to sharing his own thoughts on them. Just like reading along to lyrics in a song, I think it will be fun to follow one person's perspective in the exhibition.

Although I haven't seen the exhibition in person, just reading the official introduction made me want to take a closer look. While his activities are in a different direction from Namjoon on stage, they seem similar in that he consistently builds up what he loves and shares it with others. Thanks to this news, I also want to remember the names of Korean art and artists one by one.
