RM's Love for Art Issue: Korean Modern and Contemporary Art to the World

Park Soo-keun's 1964 work 'Homeward Bound,' which depicts the heartwarming daily life of Koreans

Works by modern and contemporary Korean artists, which are once again drawing attention in San Francisco through the art collection owned by RM, the leader of the group BTS, will be put up for auction in Korea.

K Auction will hold its October auction on the 28th at its headquarters in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, presenting a total of 85 works worth 11.2 billion won. Notably, the collection includes 19 works by eight representative Korean artists: Park Soo-keun, Yun Hyong-keun, Chung Sang-hwa, Lee Seung-jo, Kim Chang-youl, Lee Dae-won, Kim Jong-hak, and Kim Whan-ki. These artists are also currently featured in the RM Collection exhibition.
