I got goosebumps seeing BTS’s Arirang album climbing back up the Billboard 200 chart from various angles, even though it has been quite a while since its release. I could really feel that it wasn't just a one-off issue, but was continuously captivating the ears of people around the world.
The very fact that traditional Korean sentiment resonates on the world's main music charts is truly a magnificent thing. I think this is a good example showing that K-POP has gone beyond a mere trend and taken deep root as a cultural phenomenon.
The consumption cycle in today's music market is so short that things are easily forgotten, Isn't it a truly amazing record to hold the chart for over 30 weeks and even climb back up?
