Music resurfaces following news of V winning first place in the Male Solo category at the Top Ten Awards

News has been reported that V took first place in the Male Solo Idol category at the 15th Top Ten Awards. Although I came across this as recent news as the results were announced on October 20, the final voting itself took place from August 21 to 25. It would be helpful to distinguish between when the results were announced and the actual voting period. This news was welcome because it showed that fans' interest in his solo activities translated into the voting results.

When I think of V's solo music, the texture of his voice and the mood of the songs come to mind first, rather than strong stimulation. The feeling is slightly different when playing loudly compared to listening quietly, so even with the same song, I find myself paying attention to different parts depending on the situation. I think the atmosphere that lingers after listening multiple times suits V's music better than a scene that catches your eye all at once. Seeing the news about the rankings naturally made me want to look up his previous songs again.

It is also interesting how the atmosphere is different between the image he shows within the group and when he sings alone. On BTS stages, you can hear his voice blending with the members, whereas in solo songs, you can follow V's unique vocal tone for a little longer. Rather than deciding which is better, I like being able to see both sides. I think we can accept this first place win as a result confirming the interest that has built up over time. I plan to calmly watch for news regarding future music and performances, rather than attaching excessive expectations.
