BTS Arirang: An Unstoppable Legend Record

There is news that even though six months have passed since the release of BTS's 5th studio album 'ARIRANG,' it has actually climbed up the rankings on the U.S. Billboard main album chart! 💜 On the latest 'Billboard 200' dated October 24, it rose two spots from the previous week to rank 41st, marking its 30th consecutive week on the chart. It is truly a source of pride that the album, which debuted at number one last April and held the top spot for three consecutive weeks, continues to receive steady love even as time passes. It reinforces the idea that BTS is indeed a legendary group whose true value shines through even as time goes by.

The performance of the title track 'SWIM' is also truly remarkable. It ranked 26th on the Billboard 'Global 200,' which tracks streaming and digital sales across over 200 countries and regions worldwide, and 9th on the 'Global (excluding U.S.)' chart. Notably, it reportedly maintained a Top 10 position on the 'Global (excluding U.S.)' chart for a total of 29 weeks. With even the B-side track 'NORMAL' charting, I feel even more proud as a fan to see the entire album consistently receiving love. It feels truly meaningful that the album has captivated the hearts of listeners around the world for such a long time, going beyond mere initial buzz.

With the news of the world tour added to this, I realize once again just how tremendous BTS's global influence is. 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' topped Pollstar's 'Global Concert Pulse' chart for seven consecutive weeks. It is also remarkable that the eight included shows recorded an average revenue of $14.82 million per show. My heart swells with emotion at the thought that the burning passion of fans gathering from all over the world to see BTS perform live is leading to such achievements.

From album charts and global music charts to world tours, BTS continues to set new records without settling in any one place! As a fan, hearing news like this makes the time we have walked together feel even more precious, and I look forward to the stages and music they will show us in the future. While their achievements in the numbers are impressive, I believe their greatest strength lies in the unwavering love of ARMYs around the world who seek out and support BTS's music regardless of the passage of time. I will continue to cheer with excitement to see just how many more amazing legendary records they will create with their unique music and performances! 💜
