The welcome news that the 5th studio album 'Arirang' has received platinum certification from the Italian Music Industry Association (FIMI) makes K-pop artists the first to do so has once again proven their unrivaled influence in the global music market. As this achievement was accomplished about six months after the Gold certification, I feel it is truly amazing to see the solid support of the global fandom and strong digital and album power really shining through.
It is dazzling to see you continuing your unstoppable long run for over 8 months, not only with news of overseas certifications but also by holding your spot on the US Billboard main album chart, 'Billboard 200,' for 32 consecutive weeks. With consistent strong performances across global charts and radio, it is immediately evident that they have moved beyond a temporary craze and firmly established themselves as a mainstream force in the global music market.
Hearing the good news from major markets around the world fills me with deep pride as a top global artist. I am looking forward to and anticipating even more the new inspiration and achievements that BTS's next steps and infinite growth will bring, as they constantly surpass expectations!
