The night in Goyang when the BTS World Tour began

I looked again at a photo from the Goyang concert last April, when BTS's ARIRANG World Tour began. It shows fireworks rising over the stadium and people gathered at the entrance holding umbrellas. Since the photo was taken outside the stadium on the first day of the tour with all seven members, it really conveys the atmosphere of people waiting for the performance.

The concert that began in Goyang on April 9 marked the start of BTS's world tour following a long hiatus from group activities. It is said that a large crowd filled the stadium despite the rain at the time. The first performance must have held special significance as it was an occasion where the members met their fans on the same stage for the first time in a long while.

The 5th studio album ARIRANG, which shares the same name as the tour, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and the single Swim also topped the chart. As the album and tour continued, the opportunity opened up for the audience to experience the new music at live venues. Following the performances in Korea, the journey continued with schedules in various regions including the United States, Europe, and Asia.

I find myself gazing for a long time at the image of the seven members hanging on the stadium wall and the fireworks spreading above them. Although the tour has passed through many cities now, I want to keep the scenery of Goyang, the starting point, in my memory. The rainy sky and the umbrellas in front of the venue remain as a single scene in my mind.
