Jungkook's 155-week record on the GOLDEN chart

It has been reported that Jungkook's first solo album, GOLDEN, has been on the Spotify Global Weekly Album Chart for the 155th week. It ranked 199th on the chart compiled from October 23 to 29. It is heartening to see that an album released in 2023 is still being played all over the world even after such a long time.

It is said that GOLDEN entered this chart at number 2 upon its release and subsequently remained in the top 5 for 5 consecutive weeks and the top 10 for 6 consecutive weeks. This shows that rather than the initial interest being a fleeting moment, listeners have consistently sought out the album again.

According to reports, album streaming increased by approximately 20 million that week, and cumulative plays exceeded 7.59 billion. It is impressive that so many people have been listening to the tracks in their daily lives for a long time, reflecting the magnitude of these numbers.

If you listen to the songs in order, starting with familiar tracks like "Seven" and "Standing Next to You" and moving on to the others in the album, you can experience a different atmosphere in each track. I think it would also be a unique kind of fun to listen to them again while recalling Jungkook's performances.

It seems that good music continues to accompany new moments as time passes. We look forward to seeing how much GOLDEN will be loved on many people's playlists in the future, and we celebrate this record.
