BTS's Arirang has achieved Platinum status in Italy, too 💜
2026.11.05 16:51
There is news that BTS's 5th studio album, "Arirang," has received platinum certification in Italy, becoming the first K-pop album to do so.
It is said to have recorded a cumulative 50,000 units according to the Italian Music Industry Association.
It's really amazing that you reached Platinum in just about six months after receiving Gold certification last April.
I think it is an even more meaningful record because it combines not only physical album sales but also digital downloads and streaming.
It is also surprising that it has been on the Billboard 200 chart in the U.S. for 32 consecutive weeks since its release.
I can really feel that this is an album that is consistently loved even as time passes.
