Following their victory in the U.S. copyright lawsuit, there is news that the lawsuit regarding the plagiarism allegations of 'Swim' has also been concluded.
This lawsuit was filed by composer Steve Cooper, John Sandler, and Greylin Johnson.
It is reported that records of all three plaintiffs voluntarily withdrawing the lawsuit were registered with the court on November 4, 119 days after the lawsuit was filed on July 8.
It is particularly noteworthy that court proceedings continued right up until the moment the lawsuit was withdrawn.
Following the news of winning the copyright lawsuit in the U.S., the withdrawal of this plagiarism lawsuit as well must be welcome news for the fans.
