BTS wraps up 14 performances of South American tour

BTS has wrapped up the South American leg of their Arirang World Tour. Starting in Bogota, Colombia in October, they met fans in five cities, passing through Lima, Peru; Santiago, Chile; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and finally São Paulo, Brazil. They held a total of fourteen performances, all of which sold out, with approximately 853,000 people in attendance.

The final concert took place at the Morumbi Stadium in São Paulo. It is especially heartwarming to see this as a schedule where BTS toured various cities in South America to meet fans who had been waiting for a long time. Considering that the journey spanned multiple countries rather than ending in a single city, I imagine the atmosphere at each stage must have been slightly different.

After the performance, the members also shared their thoughts on the time spent with South American fans. J-Hope said he was especially looking forward to this tour because he was able to meet fans in South America whom he rarely gets to see, and Jimin also expressed that it would be remembered as a good memory. It must have been a moment that will stay with the ARMYs for a long time, as they have been waiting in their respective cities.

The tour now continues with the Asian leg. According to the official schedule, a performance in Kaohsiung, Taiwan is scheduled for November 19th, followed by shows in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Jakarta. As there is a lot of travel involved, I hope the members and everyone preparing for the performances stay healthy and complete the next schedule.
