BTS Becomes First K-Pop Artist to Receive Platinum Certification in Italy
2026.11.05 19:38
It is welcome news that BTS has become the first K-pop artist to receive Platinum certification from the Italian Music Industry Association. Their album "Arirang," released last March, achieved 50,000 units by combining physical album sales and streaming, a feat accomplished approximately six months after receiving Gold certification last April. As they continue to enjoy steady popularity in the U.S., we look forward to seeing what new records they will set in the future.
