BTS Completely Withdraws 'Swim' Plagiarism Lawsuit... Proudly Defending Musical Authenticity

The plagiarism lawsuit filed by three American composers regarding the title track "Swim" from the group BTS's fifth album has been finally concluded with the plaintiffs withdrawing the case completely.

According to a Billboard report, the controversy was cleanly brought to an end as the plaintiffs' attorneys submitted documents to the U.S. court requesting the withdrawal of the lawsuit. BTS's musical honor has been clearly protected as the lawsuit filed against HYVE and the songwriting team in July of this year, claiming similarity to a demo song of the same name, was settled with the plaintiff's withdrawal.

It feels very meaningful and fortunate that this result once again proves the legitimacy and authenticity of 'Swim,' which was completed by the global production team, including leader RM who participated as a co-composer. Having cleared away unnecessary suspicions and confidently defended the artist's musical value, I wholeheartedly support BTS's future musical journey, hoping it will shine even more solidly and high.
