Sugar, suspicion of dereliction of duty again… Additional eyewitness accounts
2024.08.16 11:00

As BTS' Suga was booked on suspicion of drunk driving an electric scooter, suspicions of dereliction of duty have once again come to the fore. Suga is currently serving as a social service worker.
Person A recently uploaded an additional message through the social service agent application 'Public Interest Human', writing, "I'm in the news because of Suga. I never said that my post could be copied and now I'm only interested in Sohae. I could be beaten to death by ARMY (BTS fandom name)." Person A is known to have received basic military training with Suga at the Social Service Training Center in Boeun-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do for 4 nights and 5 days from November 20 to 24 last year.
Person A continued, “Like other students, what I take issue with is that the student knew he would be given special leave as the head of the department, but still showed low participation. The instructor even told him to do it, but he went back to sleep right away, which was embarrassing for a public official like him. By my standards, he was not a very good person.”
Previously, Mr. A had posted on the same application that Suga was the team leader (group leader) last November but did not properly participate in class. However, when the controversy over Suga's drunk driving on an electric scooter arose, the post in question belatedly received attention.
At the time, Mr. A said, "Sugar never participated in class (educational time) for 4 nights and 5 days," and "The instructor must have felt that it was too much, so he even gave him a warning. He woke up, nodded without knowing what was going on, looked at his phone, and went back to sleep." He also wrote, "Sugar's class participation rate was the lowest," and "He felt like a mediocre bully at the beginning of the semester when I was in school."
In relation to this, a petition was filed with the Military Manpower Administration requesting an investigation into Suga's attendance issues, and it has been reported that the petition was assigned to the Seoul Regional Military Manpower Administration.
Meanwhile, Suga was found fallen over while riding an electric scooter while intoxicated in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 6th. At the time, Suga's blood alcohol level was reported to be 0.227%, which is far higher than the 0.08% level that would result in his license being revoked.
Initially, Suga stated his position on the 7th, the day after the incident, saying, "I fell down by myself while stopping the electric kickboard in front of the front gate of my house, and there was a police officer nearby, so I took a breathalyzer test and had my license revoked and was fined." However, later on, it was revealed that it was an 'electric scooter' and not an 'electric kickboard', and he was met with suspicion that he was minimizing the incident.
Now even the reviews of dereliction of duty are coming up...
It feels like everything that's happened so far will come to the surface!
