The first trial of the damages lawsuit filed by BTS members V and Jungkook and their agency Big Hit Music against Mr. Park, the operator of the YouTube channel 'Taldeoksuyongso', was held on the 23rd.

Judge Lee Gwan-hyung of the 12th Civil Division of the Seoul Western District Court held the first hearing of the damage compensation lawsuit filed by V, Jungkook, and others against Mr. Park this morning.

On the other hand, Park's legal representative said, "We admit to uploading the video," but argued, "Considering the method and content, it is merely an expression of opinion and does not constitute defamation by stating false facts."

He added, "Even if it is defamation by stating false facts, some of the content is not false and was produced for the public interest, so liability for compensation for that part is not recognized."
