RM documentary film, Busan International Film Festival ‘Open Cinema’ official invitation
2024.09.04 09:36
A video featuring the making of BTS RM's second solo album will be screened for the first time at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) this October.
The documentary film 'RM: Right People, Wrong Place' (Director Lee Seok-jun, Distributor CJ 4DPLEX, Producer Hive), which covers the making of RM's second solo album 'Right Place, Wrong Person' released in May, has been selected as an official invitation to the Open Cinema section of the 29th Busan International Film Festival. Open Cinema is a section that showcases new works that have both artistic and popular appeal among the films invited to the film festival, as well as works that have garnered international attention.
The film contains RM's honest interviews and the production process that took about eight months to complete his second solo album. It is also a record of his constant self-exploration as he struggles between being the leader of BTS, a solo artist, and Kim Nam-joon as a human being. The title of the film implies that the journey to find your true self and the right place begins when the line between 'Right' and 'Wrong' blurs.
