BTS RM Donates 100 Million Won to Veterans Fund for His Birthday… Supports Uniformed Workers

RM donated 100 million won to the veterans’ fund through ‘Everyone’s Veterans’ Dream’ on his birthday, September 12th. RM made this donation to participate in the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs’ ‘Uniformed Service Appreciation Campaign’. The donation will be used to provide preferential treatment and welfare support to uniformed service personnel and their bereaved families.

On this day, RM conveyed his feelings through his agency Big Hit Music, saying, “These days, I’ve personally felt the patriotic devotion of many people on the scene. I hope that this can be of some small help to all the heroes who are devoting themselves to their country even at this moment, as well as to many people who have worked hard for peace. And I sincerely thank ARMY (fandom name) for always sending me so much love and congratulations.”

RM has been carrying out various donation activities to celebrate his birthday. Last year, he supported the Korean Society of Legal Medicine and highlighted the importance of training experts. In 2021 and 2022, he donated to the Overseas Cultural Heritage Foundation and worked to restore and preserve cultural heritage, spreading good influence regardless of the field. In addition, since 2023, he has been actively participating in publicizing the remains excavation project to the public as a public relations ambassador for the Ministry of National Defense Remains Excavation and Identification Unit.
