It's so cool that BTS donated 100 million won to national heroes and their families for their birthday.

“I’ve personally felt the patriotic devotion of many people on the scene these days. I hope that this can be of some small help to all the heroes who are devoting themselves to the country even at this moment, and to the many people who have worked hard for peace. And I sincerely thank ARMY (ARMY, fandom name) who always send me overflowing love and congratulations.”

I looked it up after seeing this and found out that they donate every year on their birthdays, but I was curious about the organization they donate to.

I feel like I'm going to a place that needs help and attention.

Special School for the Hearing Impaired (2019)

National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (2020)

Overseas Korean Cultural Heritage Foundation (2021, 2022)

Korean Society of Legal Medicine (2023)

Veterans Fund (2024)

Even as a group, they donate almost 10 billion won, and even if you only donate individually, it's this much.

It's touching that thanks to RM, little-known and neglected places are becoming known, and fans are following suit and donating, creating a virtuous cycle. I'm touched that he's a truly thoughtful leader.
