The documentary film about Jeongguk is a global hit
2024.09.23 17:54
BTS Jungkook's first solo documentary film 'Jungkook: I am Still' has been released in 114 countries around the world.
It has recorded revenue of about 5.61 million dollars (about 7.4 billion won) and has so far raised about 8.18 million dollars (about 10.9 billion won).
They say it's a global box office hit
'Jungkook: I am still' is about artist Jungkook's rise to the position of a 'global pop star' who has taken over the global music market.
It is a documentary film that captures the journey of about 8 months and the sincere feelings towards BTS' fandom, ARMY.
In Korea, it opened on the 18th and attracted 22,176 cumulative viewers in 5 days, and in the US, it opened last Friday
It ranked 9th at the weekend box office, earning $1.42 million (about 1.8 billion won) in just two days on Sunday.
It's not a documentary about BTS as a whole, but a solo documentary, and I think it's great.
