"I like Korea"…'No. 1 contributor' who beat BTS
2024.10.07 18:36
In a subjective question asking who contributed to the positive image of Korea, soccer player Son Heung-min (86 people) was chosen the most by respondents. This was followed by BTS (65 people), Park Ji-sung (21 people), Blackpink (20 people), Yoo Jae-suk (18 people), and Ban Ki-moon (17 people).
76% of respondents said that Korea and Singapore have strong relations, and close to 60% said they are learning Korean or are interested in it.
Meanwhile, the Korean Embassy in Singapore explained that a significant number of Singaporeans responded that Korean culture is different from Singaporean culture in most areas, showing that there is room for increasing exchanges between the two countries.
Singaporeans recognized kimchi, hanbok, and bibimbap as symbols of Korea, while awareness of soju, taekwondo, pansori, and hanji decreased.
Son Heung-min is in first place
It's a shame they came in second, but they're still great.

- 01CommentsJust looking at the photos, the atmosphere of the BTS exhibition seems so amazing ㅠㅠㅠ I think it would be even more beautiful and touching to see it in person hehe. Being able to encounter memories related to BTS in such a special space must be a truly precious experience for the fans.. If I get the chance, I definitely want to check it out too 💜560026.10.21

- 02CommentsThat's right, Jin's solo career is really amazing too, haha. I think he got overshadowed because there are so many other members who became producers and have hit songs. It's a shame.8811126.10.20
