BTS' J-Hope appears in the novel <The Occupied House>, the winner of the 4th Park Ji-ri Literary Award

The three short stories in 『Occupied House』 are set in the real places of Gwangju , Yongin , and Gyeongju and tell stories after the nuclear power plant accident in 2031. The actions of ordinary citizens and artists living in the present day in a society that has experienced a disaster that could happen in the not-too-distant future are ironically like stories from the past sent from the future . In the face of the future disaster in the novels, people recall memories of the 1980s and take care of those around them . Disasters have always “ just happened and hit us ” without warning regardless of the era , and citizens have always tried to “ share what they don’t have with each other even in the midst of pain and injury . ” This work hopes that our society will never have to look back on the past in this way in the face of disaster again , and talks about the roles that art, records, and citizens should play .

J-Hope's hometown is Gwangju. J-Hope's name really appears in ' Hope on the Road - Gwangju Edition ' and the title and lyrics of J-Hope's solo song 'On the Street' are also mentioned . The interpretation of the lyrics ' I want the road I take to become hope , I did it on purpose ' is touching and surprised fans.
