"A Hymn to Passion"... BTS Jin, Receiving Praise from Foreign Media

American magazine Teen Vogue introduced the song, saying, "This song is based on the rockabilly genre, and contains various instrument sounds and Jin's attractive voice." It continued, "Jin presents music that is quite different from his previous solo songs through the new song. Jin mainly sang ballads such as 'The Astronaut,' 'This Night,' and 'Abyss,' but in this song, he maintains his signature lively feeling centered on hopeful lyrics and fully conveys happy emotions."

American Vogue highlighted Jin's transformation from a 'pop star' to a 'rock star' and left a review saying, "If Jin's solo single 'The Astronaut' released in 2022 was a love letter to his fans, his new song 'I'll Be There' is where Jin's dedication is felt twice as much."

"The ending of the song really shines with Jin's heartfelt message that he'll always be there for his fans when they need someone to lean on," Vogue said. In an interview with Vogue, Jin also said, "I'm excited to be back with music again and I hope my fans like the song a lot."

American music media Billboard said, "The song is an ode to passionately dedicating one's heart to something," and American music media Rolling Stone reported that Gene paid homage to the rockabilly genre, noting the combination of rock and country sounds.

Jin's new album pre-released track 'I'll Be There' is a cheerful rockabilly sound song. It contains Jin's desire to give strength with a song that conveys happiness when you feel tired and alone.

This song is gaining popularity by doing well on global charts. It entered the 'Daily Top Song Global' of Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, on the 25th at number 9, breaking Jin's own record for a solo song. It also went straight to number 1 on Japan's Oricon 'Daily Digital Single Ranking' on the same day.

It's so good. Jinnim, fighting!
