Jinnim was friends with Chris Martin

\BTS' Jin showed off his friendship with Chris Martin, the lead vocalist of the rock band Coldplay.

On the 21st (Korean time), Jin appeared on NBC's 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' and shared his recent activities after being discharged from the military.

On this day, Jimmy Fallon and the audience welcomed Jin back to his fans after his military service. Jimmy Fallon mentioned a photo of the entire BTS group gathered together when Jin was discharged and asked, "RM actually played the saxophone. What song did he play?" Jin responded with a witty comment, "To be honest, I was so out of it at the time that I don't know what I did. In fact, I didn't even know it existed."

When the photo of him carrying the Olympic torch came out, Jin continued to praise himself, saying, “You’re really handsome.” Then Jimmy Fallon asked, “Who gave you the nickname ‘Worldwide Handsome’?” Jin confidently replied, “I gave it to myself. I think it’s the nickname that best describes me.”

Later, while talking about Jin's new album 'Happy', Jimmy Fallon asked Jin, "Who is your favorite rock artist?" Jin said, "Coldplay is my favorite. I got in touch with them, and Chris Martin gave me a song before the album came out. It was an honor to work with him." He then added, "I have Chris Martin's guitar."

Jimmy Fallon then asked, "Chris Martin is my old friend. When I asked for the guitar, he didn't give it to me. Did you get it easily, Gene?" Gene explained, "I went out to play and he asked me for the guitar as a joke. I gave it to him coolly. I was so happy that I kept it at home as a family heirloom."

Jimin Fallon then mentioned a photo of the entire BTS group taken on Jin's discharge day and asked, "I want RM's saxophone." After hearing this, he said, "I'll ask them to send it to you when I go to Korea."

Meanwhile, in September 2021, Jin received a guitar that Chris Martin had been playing for 10 years as a gift. The following year, Jin was invited as a guest at the Argentina leg of Coldplay's world tour 'Music of the SPHERES', and before enlisting, he also worked with Chris Martin on the song 'The Astronaut'.

I didn't know that Jin was invited as a guest and that we worked together before enlistment.
