BTS Jin and ARMY Spin the Carousel '100 Times'

The fan event for BTS member Jin (real name Kim Seok-jin) has ended successfully.

On the morning of the 24th, Jin held 'Merry Run Around' at the Lotte World Adventure Carousel in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

This special fan event was held as part of a face-to-face fan signing event to commemorate the release of his solo album 'Happy'. Jin created a buzz even before the event by taking on the unconventional approach of being the first K-pop artist to hold a fan signing event on a carousel.

On this day, Jin met with 50 fans before Lotte World opened and said, "I wanted to do a fan signing event, but I thought it wouldn't be fun if I just did it, so I came up with this idea. I hope you like it."

Then, they greeted each and every fan on the rotating carousel and showed their appreciation for their support by wearing various fan signing event items prepared by ARMY (fandom name).

In particular, Jin's love for his fans was abundantly revealed in this fan event. Originally, the event was to be an event where Jin and a fan would ride the carousel one-on-one, but Jin surprisingly changed the format when he requested on-site that each person ride two laps together, saying that he didn't have enough time to talk to his fans. As a result, it is said that Jin met his fans by going around the carousel more than 100 times.

After the event, Jin shared his thoughts, saying, "If I had to pick the happiest moments (after my discharge), they would be '2024 FESTA' on June 13th and the fan showcase to commemorate the release of 'Happy' last week. I think that I have to work hard so that you can be happy and have fun. I will work harder so that I can meet you more often in the future." Jin also prepared a 'reverse tribute' for all the fans who visited the site by giving them free passes to Lotte World and special gifts.

The location of this special fan event is even more meaningful because it matches well with the main concept of the new album 'Happy', which is 'happiness'. It is known that Jin came up with the idea himself to create special memories with fans.

Meanwhile, Jin is proving his presence on the global charts with his first solo album 'Happy' released on the 15th. With just 3 days of sales, he topped the Japanese Oricon 'Weekly Digital Album Ranking' (compiled from November 11 to 17).

The title song 'Running Wild' broke his own personal record for the singer's solo song on Spotify's 'Daily Top Song Global' (8th) and the UK Official Singles Chart (25th) immediately after its release.
