BTS V and Park Hyo-shin's duet 'Wind Ahead' carol version released
2024.12.04 21:02
[Seoul = Newsis] Reporter Kang Joo-hee = Big Hit Music, the agency, announced that the carol version of BTS V and singer Park Hyo-shin's duet song "Winter Ahead" was released on the 3rd.
The carol version of 'Wind Ahead' maximizes the warm and romantic emotions of the original song by adding various string instruments.
On the same day, BTS' official YouTube channel posted a silent carol version video of "Wind Ahead." This video is a cinematic still version of the music video that was released on the 30th of last month, re-edited to resemble a black and white film.
In the video, V and Park Hyo-shin are seen sitting across from each other and singing along as if they were having a conversation, while a sound source arranged to fit the year-end atmosphere flows.
'Winter Ahead', released on the 29th of last month, is a jazz pop genre song with romantic lyrics and a standout melody. It is a song created from V's wish for his fans to have a warm and happy winter.
It has been reported that V, who likes jazz, suggested to Park Hyo-shin, with whom he is close, that he work on a song suitable for winter, and Park Hyo-shin accepted.
Jesse Harris, who wrote the lyrics for Norah Jones' "Don't Know Why," participated in writing this song, creating romantic lyrics that harmonize with the warm melody.
I think this version is better than the original because the voice is audible.
