Jungkook and Jimin to Dominate Billboard's 2024 Year-End Charts "BTS, After All"
2024.12.15 12:46
BTS' Jimin and Jungkook showed off their continued popularity with solo activities.
Jimin and Jungkook ranked high in the major categories of the 2024 year-end charts released by Billboard, an American music media outlet, on the 13th. On the main album chart, Billboard 200, Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN' ranked 80th and Jimin's second solo album 'MUSE' ranked 200th. They are the only two K-pop solo singers to have made it to this chart, and Jungkook in particular ranked the highest among Korean singers, both group and solo.
He ranked 60th on this year's 'Top Artist', which is calculated based on the Billboard 200 and the main song chart 'Hot 100', which is also the highest ranking for a K-pop singer.
The two showed their power by entering the year-end settlement charts in numerous categories, and Jungkook's first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' (15th), the title song of 'GOLDEN' 'Standing Next to You' (36th), and solo single '3D (feat. Jack Harlow)' (129th) settled in the 'Global 200'.
Jimin's title song 'Who' from 'MUSE' (106th) and the title song 'Like Crazy' from his first solo album 'FACE' (154th) also ranked on the same chart, and with this momentum, Jungkook and Jimin ranked 14th and 44th respectively on the 'Global 200 Artists'^^

- 02CommentsI think it's really amazing how Jungkook doesn't waver with his live vocals even while pulling off intense choreography haha. Thanks to his voice soaring clearly even in the high notes, I find myself listening to the video on repeat even after watching just one!420026.10.23

- 01CommentsThat's right, Jin's solo career is really amazing too, haha. I think he got overshadowed because there are so many other members who became producers and have hit songs. It's a shame.11414326.10.20
