BTS Jimin, 'First Korean' to Enter Billboard Chart for 2 Consecutive Years
2024.12.19 14:15
BTS' Jimin has made history as a K-pop solo artist by being named in a total of 14 categories on the 2024 Billboard year-end chart, surpassing the 13 categories he had won last year.
Jimin ranked 200th on Billboard's main album chart, Billboard 200, with his second solo album, "MUSE," becoming the first and only Korean solo artist to enter the chart for two consecutive years following "FACE" in 2023.
The title track "Who" is the only K-pop song to enter the "Streaming Songs" chart at number 74, making it the first Korean solo song to enter the chart since Psy's "Gangnam Style."
On the 'Global 200' chart, 'Whoo' entered at number 106 and 'Like Crazy' entered at number 154, making Jimin the first and only Korean artist to have two songs on the chart.
