Jimin Who Surpasses 1.2 Billion Streams on Spotify
2024.12.19 16:56
BTS' Jimin has set another record on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform.
Here's some news!
Recently, Jimin's second solo album 'Muse's title song 'Who' surpassed 1.2 billion in just 151 days since its release, which is 4 days faster than the world's fastest solo song record set by Harry Styles with 'As it was', and Jimin has set another meaningful milestone in Spotify's history.
Jimin's 1 billion on-demand streams in the US are the first achievement by a Korean solo artist in over 10 years since Psy, and are proof of Jimin's unrivaled music power in the US music market.
Meanwhile, 'Who', which Jimin released while serving in the military, achieved the feat of being the most streamed K-pop song worldwide this year by taking first place on Spotify's 'Global Top K-pop Song of the Year'.
