‘Winter Boy’ V, selected by Billboard as the representative winter song of the 21st century

'Winter Boy' V has set a new record as a Korean singer with his latest winter song.

BTS' V has entered the Billboard Holiday Hot 100 (dated December 21) with his carol "White Christmas (with V of BTS)" featuring Bing Crosby. He previously entered the same chart with "Christmas Tree," released in the winter of 2021, and "Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)," a duet song with Park Hyo-shin released last month.

With this, V has become the only K-pop artist to have three songs on the 'Holiday Hot 100'. Additionally, all of these songs went straight to the top of the 'Holiday Digital Song Sales' immediately after their release, making V the only Korean artist to have three songs at number one on this chart.

All of the songs that V released in the winter are evaluated as the best seasonal songs of all time. Billboard selected V's 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' as one of 'The 27 Best Winter Songs for the Season'. The media said about the song, "It reminds me of the first day of the cold season. The harmony of the two feels like fresh snowflakes" and "This song's shelf life will go beyond December 25th."

In addition, V has been reborn as a 'winter boy' representing the 21st century by consecutively entering the main song chart 'Hot 100' with 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' (99th) and 'White Christmas (with V of BTS)' (93rd), which were released this winter. This record is even more meaningful as he has consistently gifted songs to his fans every winter, such as 'Snow Flower (feat. Peakboy)' and 'Wherever ur (ft. V of BTS)'.

With White Christmas and Winter Ahead out, there's so much to listen to at the end of the year.
