BTS Jin, postponement of the release of their own content 'Run Seok Jin' "Deep condolences and comfort" [Official]

The release of BTS's own content 'Run Seok Jin', featuring Jin, has been postponed due to the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster.

On the 30th, the agency Big Hit Entertainment announced through their official SNS, "We express our deepest condolences and comfort to the victims of the plane disaster and their bereaved families. Some content release schedules, including 'Run Seok Jin' EP. 16, which was scheduled to be uploaded this week, will be postponed."

Also, they were planning to post content to celebrate member V's birthday on this day. However, the agency said, "We ask for fans' generous understanding for not posting content related to V's birthday as planned," and "We pray for the souls of those who passed away in the plane crash and offer our deepest condolences to their bereaved families."

Meanwhile, at around 9:03 AM on the 29th, Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 from Bangkok to Muan with 181 people on board crashed while landing on the runway at Muan International Airport in South Jeolla Province. Of the 175 passengers and 6 crew members on board, 175 passengers and 4 crew members were killed, and 2 survivors (crew members) were reported.

The government has decided to designate a period of national mourning until January 4th and to set up joint incense-burning altars at Muan Airport and in 17 cities and provinces across the country to express condolences and sympathy for the victims.
