BTS J-Hope donates his fortune to help sick children... Amazing
[TV Report=Reporter Yoo Young-jae] As BTS' J-Hope was reported to have donated 200 million won to the Seoul Asan Medical Center Children's Hospital ahead of their world tour, fandom ARMY protested against their agency, HYBE.
According to Seoul Asan Medical Center, J-Hope made the donation on his birthday, February 18th, and expressed his intention to continue supporting the hospital in the future.
J-Hope said, "I sincerely hope that children can dream of a healthy and hopeful future," and added, "It is truly meaningful that I will continue to donate every year starting this year on my birthday."
The donation will reportedly be used to improve treatment facilities and medical environments for pediatric and adolescent patients, as well as for research into severe and rare pediatric incurable diseases.
On the other hand, hashtags such as '#HYBE_Work_Negligent_Wake_Up' and '#HYBE_Singer_Support_Properly' became hot topics online today (the 18th). This stemmed from the fact that HYBE, J-Hope's agency, was negligent in promoting his solo activities after he was discharged from the military in October of last year.
Regarding the hashtag in question, it was reported that the request was, "HYBE is not promoting any individual activities of our artist J-Hope, including his first world tour," and "We strongly demanded that the agency fulfill its basic obligations so that its artists can focus solely on their activities."
Regarding J-Hope's first world tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE', which starts on the 28th, there has been no separate promotion or other announcements since January 10th, with only the announcement of ticket sales for each city.
Regarding this, fandom ARMY stated, "Even the ticket sales announcement is inconsistent and insincere. Not only in Seoul, but also in five cities in North America, tickets for restricted view seats have opened, but the agency only announced for Seoul and not for the five cities in North America. They don't even have the sincerity to repost the announcement made by the local ticket sales office. This is an act of complete disregard for the fans."
He continued, "J-Hope is struggling alone by opening his own account and doing a countdown. What on earth is his agency doing to promote his world tour?"
He donated his fortune to help sick children.
It's not easy, but I think it's really great.
