I went to the Cortis Youngkuk concert.

I've been seeing terms like "Young K-K" and "Old K-K" a lot lately, so I wondered what they were about. It turns out they're a meme that started from a Cortis song. Curious, I decided to go to the concert. First off, since it was a standing concert, I had to wait for about two hours, and I seriously thought my back was going to break. However, a Chinese fan next to me shared some pain relief patches, and I was really grateful. As soon as I put them on, I felt like I could live again, almost unbelievably. It was also impressive to see so many Chinese fans in the standing section.

Since it was my first time at an idol concert, I didn't really pay much attention to things like VCRs or costume changes. I just treated it like going to a festival, jumping around and singing along, and it was actually quite fun. However, after looking up reviews of the first concert, I understood why the feedback was negative. I can see why fans would have been disappointed by the short performance without an encore, the endless "Young Kk" (Young Lovers) segments, and the brief closing remarks. Still, I was relieved to see that the feedback seemed to have been reflected in the final concert.

Personally, I heard there were many unreleased songs, so I feel a bit disappointed that they didn't show more cover songs or new tracks. The Cortis performance itself was entertaining, so I look forward to them preparing even better for the next concert.
