Cortis's Rock in Japan Festival stage shines even amidst heavy rain.

Cortis took the stage at the 'Rock in Japan Festival 2026' held at Soga Sports Park in Chiba, Japan on the 20th.

Rock in Japan Festival is one of Japan's four major rock festivals, celebrating its 27th anniversary this year, and attracts a massive crowd every year. I think it is even more meaningful because this is Cortis's first time performing at an outdoor music festival in Japan.

It is said that it rained quite heavily at the venue that day. Despite the weather, they reportedly performed songs such as 'REDRED' and 'TNT' without a break for about 30 minutes, really raising the atmosphere.

You performed at the TMA in Busan on the 19th, the day before, and then went straight to Japan the next day to perform, so it must have been physically demanding, but thank you for filling the stage with bright energy until the very end.

Since it was a rock festival, there were probably many audience members who didn't know Cortis originally, but I think they gathered quite a few new fans through their live performances.

And since they have been nominated in three categories at the '2026 MTV VMA' in the US on the coming 27th, I am looking forward to the results as well.

Seeing them perform on stage smiling even while getting rained on made me feel emotional for some reason.
