The most decisive reason I became a fan of the band Day6 was because their music felt like "a voice that protects me from the closest place." I think their unique appeal lies in the fact that they feel like caring friends who live next door and listen to all my worries, rather than distant stars basking in the bright lights.

The first thing that captivated me was the **'exhilaration from their flawless live performance'**. Honestly, at first, I had a slight prejudice that 'if an idol band can do well, how good can they be?' However, as I watched each and every live video, that notion was completely shattered. Sungjin's vocals, where even his rough breathing becomes music; Young K's steady high notes while playing the bass; Wonpil's emotional outpouring on the keyboard; and Dowoon's heavy beats behind them. The immersive presence created by the combined energy of these four people was truly goosebump-inducing. After witnessing their passion, I didn't just 'listen' to their music; I 'felt' it.

The second point is **'unforced comfort.'** DAY6's lyrics, rather than the cliché "Everything will be okay," confess first, "I'm actually scared and afraid, too." I remember listening to songs like "Zombie" or "Afraid," and crying like they'd discovered my true feelings. Thanks to their lyrics, which didn't deny my pain but simply acknowledged it, I was able to gain even greater courage. I think it was through Day6 that I first learned what it meant to be comforted by a sadder song when you're sad.

Especially, seeing their quirky sides on variety shows and radio, and their sincere attitude toward fans, made me realize, 'These people really are deep,' and I started a never-ending fandom.
