When we think of idols or bands, we often think only of their flashy stage presence, but DAY6's lyrics so transparently capture everything we experience in life, from the most trivial and petty emotions to overwhelming happiness. Listening to "Become a Page" inspires me to run out into the world right away, and "Zombie" comforts me during my listless days when I don't want to do anything. This depth of empathy is on a different level than other groups. Furthermore, the story between the members is a coming-of-age story in itself. Their solid bond, built from the bottom up, trusting and relying on each other since their trainee days, is palpable just by looking at their gaze on stage, and it's heartwarming. Especially, with Sungjin's steady presence, Young K's genius-level writing, Wonpil layering his affectionate sentiments, and Dowoon's heart-pounding beats, the synergy is truly fantastic. Moreover, these guys don't just see their fans, My Day, as fans, but treat them like colleagues walking the path together or precious friends, and that sincerity is visibly touching. When they give advice on the radio or live broadcasts, they really listen earnestly and offer practical advice, as if they were older brothers right next to me. That human side is as powerful a point of attraction as their looks or talent. Above all, their responsible attitude of returning as a full group without a single member falling behind even after completing their military service and promising, "We'll sing for the rest of our lives" is truly tear-jerking and reassuring. Not only their talent, but their character and narrative support are perfect, so once you step foot in, it's natural to feel like you never want to leave this warm and solid fence.
