정말 생각도 너무너무 깊어요 너무 잘생겼고 대단해용
[talk] I'm leaving a comment because I'm so touched by the article about our Young K.
I couldn't tell you how proud I was to hear that DAY6's Young K would be the first member of Hamilton Friends to grace the cover of the March special edition of Arena Homme Plus. The man who always shined on stage was now the face of the brand, and he was the one who started it all off with him... As a fan, I was so proud.
In particular, the Khaki Field Murphy worn by Young K in this pictorial is said to embody Hamilton's American heritage. With the Milky Way as the backdrop and his deep gaze, it truly felt like a scene from a movie. While his usual energetic stage presence is evident, this pictorial showcased a calm and subdued atmosphere, exuding a different charm. Who else pairs watches so well with such a watch?
More than anything, the interview really resonated with me. When asked about Day6's 20th anniversary, he said, "It'll be slow, but it will continue." I couldn't help but feel a twinge of emotion. He's someone who talks about "continuity" rather than speed. As a fan, I was truly grateful for his sincerity in saying he always wants to give his all on stage and perform as often as possible while he can. It made me even more hopeful that he'll stay healthy and be with us for a long, long time.
I was also struck by the way he described music as "up." His emphasis on responsibility beyond simply enjoying it made me sense the weight of someone who's endured for 10 years. The idea that responsibility is added to joy, love, and fun really resonated with me. I think that's why each song we listen to feels so precious and valuable.
After touring the world on his 10th anniversary tour, his words about wanting to delve deeper into himself resonated deeply with me. His words, "I'm trying to take some time for myself," made me realize just how intensely he's been running. As a fan, I always want to see him on stage, but I also hope this is a time for Young K to be happy and strong. I'm already looking forward to meeting new people, being inspired, and returning with a deeper side.
Thank you for consistently making music for the past 10 years, and I look forward to walking together for the next 10 years. It's okay to slow down, and it's okay to take a break. I want to see you smiling on stage for a long time. ^^
