DAY6's Young K has brought out the inner story he had kept hidden through his second solo full-length album, 'YOUNGEST'.

The title track, 'Shut The Door,' captures the honest emotions and concerns of Kang Young-hyun, the human being behind the glamorous image of an artist on stage. By expressing through music even the moments of exhaustion from people and the world, and the complex emotions he feels, he conveyed a more authentic message.

While preparing for this album, Young K captured the process of reflecting on himself for trying to show only a perfect side, and accepting even his anxiety and wounds just as they are. The honest lyrics, reminiscent of opening a diary, and his deepened musical expression are drawing empathy from listeners.
