Young K “Kang Young-hyun the human, not the successful artist”… The most honest album, ‘YOUNGEST’

DAY6's Young K has captured his most honest self through his second solo full-length album, 'YOUNGEST'.

Young K explained the significance of this album, stating, “I wanted to create an album that is most ‘Young K-like,’ yet also most ‘Kang Young-hyun-like.’” Rather than the image of a successful artist shown on stage, he has expressed the emotions and stories of Kang Young-hyun—a human being living a life of imperfection and wavering—through music.

This album, consisting of a total of 15 songs, fully captures loneliness, worries, and the process of growth, as well as the sincerity directed toward music. By personally participating in writing the lyrics and composing the music, the artist honestly expressed their inner self, resulting in a more authentic work.
