Young K: “My dream is to be a star, neither a pop star nor a rock star… I still have a long way to go.”

DAY6's Young K shared his sincere thoughts on his dreams and music.

In a recent interview, Young K smiled and said, “My dream is not to be a pop star or a rock star, but just a star,” but then honestly added, “I still think I have a long way to go.”

Preparing for this second solo full-length album, 'YOUNGEST,' was not easy. He revealed that he continued working on lyrics and composition for about four to five months, cutting back on sleep and even utilizing travel time while balancing it with his activities with DAY6.

He shared that although the process of constantly contemplating and researching to create high-quality music was difficult, he continued working to the end with the sole desire to present music that was most authentically himself.

Young K described himself as someone who is not yet complete, stating that he wants to continue growing to show even better music and performances in the future.
