DAY6's Young K has shared the story of Kang Young-hyun the human being, rather than the artist Young K on stage, through his second solo full-length album, 'YOUNGEST'.

Young K, a member of DAY6 who successfully celebrated their 10th anniversary, is busier than anyone else, active in various fields such as YouTube and variety shows as well as team activities. Now, he has returned with a full-length album of 15 songs that captures his name and emotions.

Young K revealed that through this album, he wanted to capture “music that is most Young K-like, and a story that is most Kang Young-hyun-like.” He shared that although he has been creating music loved by the public for a long time, he lacked time to reflect on his inner self, and that preparing for his solo album allowed him to come face to face.

In particular, Young K, who is known to be a big eater, also engaged in thorough self-management during the comeback preparation process. He revealed that he lost weight by controlling his diet for about four months and worked hard to show his best self in both music and on stage.
