DAY6 Wins 1st Place in Group Category, Artist of September at 2026 KGMA

DAY6 took first place in the 2026 KGMA Artist of the Month Group category. This vote was conducted for groups with special anniversaries in September, and it is said that DAY6 received the most votes.

It is said that RISE came in second and FiftyFifty came in third. Since Artist of Month is a project that selects an artist every month through fan voting, I think it can be seen as a result created together with MYDAY.

DAY6 celebrated their 11th debut anniversary on September 7th. Since their debut in 2015, they have consistently released long-loved songs such as *Pretty*, *Can Be a Page*, and *Happy*, and last year, they became the first domestic band to hold a solo concert at the Goyang Stadium, recording a sell-out of all tickets.

Individual member activities are also continuing. Young K released his second solo full-length album, *Youngest*, in July and was reportedly named in the second lineup for the 2026 KGMA. Wonpil was scheduled to perform at the Crazy Music Festival in Taiwan on September 27.

It is said that the fifth official fan meeting is also scheduled to be held in Incheon in October. The benefits for first place include a KGMA monthly trophy, a full-page advertisement in Ilgan Sports, and press coverage.

I think it is even more meaningful because it was chosen by the fans themselves in the month of the debut anniversary. It was a pleasure to be able to celebrate the 11th anniversary like this.
