Young K's recent updates on his 2nd full-length album, YOUNGEST

I looked it up again because I was curious about the news regarding DAY6's Young K's solo career. Young K released his second full-length album, YOUNGEST, on July 27, and the title track is "Shut The Door." It is said to be his first solo album in about 2 years and 10 months since his first full-length album in September 2023.

This album contains a total of 15 songs, including the title track, and it is said that Young K is credited on every track. Just as he personally created songs like "Pretty" and "Become a Page" for DAY6, it stands out that he participated extensively in this album as well.

The concept photos released before the album launch are also memorable. They featured all-white styling and captured a calm atmosphere, and it is said to express the thought and passion poured into the album. Just by looking at the photos, I could get a sense of the vibe this album would have.

Following the solo album, the Young K Solo Tour YOUNGEST concert was also held in Incheon for three days from August 14 to 16. It seems like you are having a busy autumn, continuing your solo activities while also performing on the XMF stage with the DAY6 members in October.

It is impressive to see you consistently releasing new music while balancing both band and solo activities. I will organize and share any future news about Young K as it comes out.
