Sungjin, who made his solo debut, worries about not becoming 'the same person' as Day6

Oh my, it took so long ㅎㅎㅎㅎ Thank you for waiting for so long, and I prepared hard as much as you (My Day) have waited for me. Even if you forget and live, I hope you can take it out and listen to it whenever you want and it can be a little bit of comfort ㅎㅎㅎㅎ Always be healthy and happy!!!!"

Sungjin (31), the leader of the popular band 'DAY6' from Busan, expressed his thoughts on starting a solo career after 9 years since his debut.

He will release his first full-length solo album 'Thirty (30)' at 6 PM on the 5th and begin promotions with the title song 'Check Pattern'. Accordingly, Day6 has joined the ranks of teams where all members have released solo songs.

Sungjin, who is in charge of vocals and guitar in DAY6, has written and composed many hit songs, including the team's debut song "Congratulations," as well as "Be A Page," "Welcome to the Show," "HAPPY," and "Melt."

This album, '30', shows a different sensibility. When he turned thirty, he expressed his story up until he turned thirty in a total of 30 tracks. It is a memoir containing his own narrative and sensibility, and a turning point that signals another beginning in his musical journey.

On this day, before the release of the album, Sungjin introduced himself through his agency JYP Entertainment, saying, "I started working on the song because I wanted to express my thoughts from various experiences through the song. I finished the song when I was thirty years old, and I named and produced the album to match that point in time."
