Girls' Generation's Seohyun Signs Exclusive Contract with Lead Entertainment... Expecting Synergy with BH Former Manager [Official]

Actress Seo Hyun has joined hands with Reed Entertainment.

On the 15th, Reed Entertainment announced that they had signed an exclusive contract with actress Seo Hyun, and said, “Above all, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to actress Seo Hyun for seeing people first based on their essence and recognizing the company’s potential. In the future, we will do our best to ensure that actress Seo Hyun, who possesses diverse and unique charms as an actress, can fully demonstrate her abilities through various well-made content in the best condition, and we promise to give her our full support and endless assistance in all her endeavors.”

Lead Entertainment is a new management company founded by CEO Kim Sun-woo, formerly of BH Entertainment. Positive synergy effects are expected from the meeting between the veteran manager and Seohyun.

Seohyun, who debuted as the youngest member of the representative girl group Girls' Generation in 2007, caught the public's attention with her innocent image and vocal skills, receiving much love. After building a solid fan base through group activities, Seohyun took her first step as an actress in the 2013 drama "Passionate Love." Since then, she has appeared in various works regardless of genre, such as "Thief: The Sound of the Sword," "Moral Sense," "Jinx's Lover," "Private Life," and "Time," expanding her acting spectrum.

Seohyun is once again proving her solid acting skills with her powerful exorcist performance in the movie 'Holy Night: Demon Hunters' currently showing in theaters. She will return to the small screen on June 11 with the drama 'I Stole the First Night of the Namju'. In this work set in the Joseon Dynasty, Seohyun will play the role of 'Cha Seon-Cheok', a minor character with both status and wealth, and will show off her lovable yet eccentric charm.
