[News En Reporter Hwang Hye-jin] Group Highlight members Yang Yo-seop and Son Dong-woon revealed their thoughts on regaining the group Beast's trademark rights.
On May 1st, the 19th episode of 'Democracy's Pink Cabinet' was released through KBS K-pop's official channel.
The guests that day were Yang Yo-seop and Son Dong-woon. Highlight (Yoon Doo-joon, Lee Gi-kwang, Yang Yo-seop, Son Dong-woon), which the two are a part of, made a comeback on April 28 with their 6th mini album 'From Real to Surreal'.
On April 2nd of last year, Highlight reached an agreement with Cube Entertainment regarding the use of the trademark for the group name BEAST, allowing them to continue their activities under the name BEAST after 9 years.
The members, who debuted in the music industry as Bistro under Cube Entertainment in 2009, established a new agency, Around Us, after their contract expired in 2016. Due to a failure to reach an agreement on trademark rights with Cube Entertainment, they continued their activities under the new group name Highlight for approximately 9 years.
I'm so touched that Highlight got their Beast trademark back. Please look forward to their stage too.
