Thanks to IU's remake, we got 100 million won in royalties! Ji-eun's power is truly amazing!

Thanks to our singer IU, Kim Tae-won has earned a whopping 100 million won in royalties! This is something Kim Tae-won himself mentioned on yesterday's "Radio Star." He said that he received 100 million won right away when IU remade Boohwal's "Never Ending Story" in 2002. IU contacted him first to ask for permission, and Kim Tae-won readily agreed. Kim Tae-won also praised her, saying, "As expected, IU is a superstar." It's truly touching to see an old classic being revived through IU's voice, and to see the original creator bring such joy. As expected, our IU is not only a singer, but also someone who has a positive influence on the cultural world as a whole. I'm so proud of you!
