The new drama "21st Century Grand Prince's Wife," starring IU and Byun Woo-seok, is set to premiere on MBC in April. Set in the 21st-century constitutional monarchy of the Republic of Korea, it's a romantic drama about a commoner woman from a wealthy family and the son of a king who forge their own destiny. The premise is reminiscent of the past drama "Princess Hours," making it even more intriguing.
This is actor Byun Woo-seok's first drama since "Seonjae and Run Away," so there's already a lot of anticipation. I think his collaboration with actress IU is also a reason it's being considered one of the "most anticipated dramas of 2026." I can already imagine their beautiful chemistry, and I'm thrilled.
