IU, the reason she sang 'Someday' again after 14 years

The OST 'Someday' from the drama 'Dream High' released in 2011 is a song written and composed by singer Park Jin-young and sung by IU.

This song by IU, which was sung 14 years ago in a drama as Pil-sook, is about a woman silently walking through a dark and long tunnel toward her dream of becoming a superstar, and waiting for the day when she will finally achieve her dream 'someday'. It was also very popular at the time. It is one of the songs most loved by her fandom, 'UAENA', and is often sung as an encore song at IU's concerts, and is still a famous song loved by the public.

All of the main actors, including IU, Kim Soo-hyun, Suzy, Ok Taecyeon, and Jang Wooyoung, who were actually rookies when they first appeared in the drama, have become real-life superstars just like the plot of the drama. IU joined the good cause of broadcaster Park Kyung-lim to donate part of her music profits to a project that supports the dreams and challenges of young people preparing to become independent, and participated in the featuring of "Someday" along with the actors and dancers appearing in the show musical "Dream High."

Art One Company is planning to present an encore performance of the show musical 'Dream High' in March next year, based on the success of this premiere. In addition, the company plans to focus on exporting excellent domestic IP overseas through the production of the show musical 'Dream High Season 2', the nonverbal dance musical 'Now at Our School', and other dance films and dramas.

And broadcaster Park Kyung-lim, who has enjoyed the greatest popularity by taking on various genres such as acting, singing, and variety shows as well as hosting, has formed a relationship with Art One Company through an interview for the premiere of the show musical 'Dream High', and with her love of musicals, her constant interest in marginalized neighbors, and her strong will to give the public 'pleasant comfort and warm support', she has participated as an actor and creative director, and as befitting an icon of 'dreams and challenges', she is expanding the world of the show musical 'Dream High' with the 'Dream High Project'.

While planning content such as OST releases and concerts together, they decided to donate a portion of the music revenue from the OST album of the show musical 'Dream High' to children who have finished receiving protection and have no choice but to stop challenging their dreams before they can properly begin, that is, young people preparing to become independent. IU readily agreed and will pre-release it on the 7th at 6 PM.
