IU sues 180 malicious commenters… “Including middle school classmates”

Singer IU's agency announced on the 11th that it has filed lawsuits against approximately 180 people for defamation, including threats, insults, spreading false information, and raising suspicions of plagiarism against IU.

He continued, “Up until now, there have been six fines, three conditional suspensions of prosecution upon completion of education, and one conditional suspension of prosecution upon entrustment to a probation office.” He continued, “Among these, the defendant, whose crimes are very serious, including sexual harassment and murder threats, is appealing the prosecution’s request for a fine of 3 million won and is currently undergoing a formal trial.” He added, “Some of the personal information of those who spread groundless plagiarism suspicions has been identified, and among them, there is one who was a middle school classmate of IU’s, so we are responding to it.”
